Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architectural design, project management, and a solid background in using Revit. This role offers an opportunity to lead significant projects while mentoring junior architects. As a Senior Architect, you will be expected to oversee all phases of design and construction while ensuring that our projects align with both client needs and MCL-Architecture’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Manage the design process, from initial sketches to technical documentation, using Revit.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior architects and designers.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other professionals, including engineers, quantity surveyors, and consultants.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be part 3 qualified with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UK.
  • Proficiency in Revit: Advanced skills in Revit are essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
  • Experience in leading project teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sustainable design practices and a passion for innovation in architecture.
  • Experience in managing BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
  • Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
