Job Description

Our Client is a leading technical specialist distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) products and services. As part of a larger European group, it supports customers by reducing total acquisition costs, improving production efficiency, and lowering working capital requirements. They are looking to attract an Inventory & Procurement Coordinator to be based primarily at their Head Office in Dublin 11.  This role involves inventory replenishment, sourcing, order management, supplier coordination and  plays a key role in ensuring stock availability and operational efficiency at a client site. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring excellent organizational and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Replenish fast-moving stock items across the customer’s site.
  • Fully support the Site Operations Manager in all tasks.
  • Provide accurate quotes for parts/products based on customer requirements.
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day customer enquiries; attend client site as needed.
  • Source parts and collect from local suppliers when required.
  • Handle all administrative duties related to the site support function.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service consistently.
  • Process and manage customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Input purchase orders into site systems and expedite delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP systems.
  • Produce regular management and operational reports.
  • Liaise with internal product/category teams.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities on-site.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full Irish Driving License (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of MRO and engineering consumables
  • Sales and customer relationship management skills
  • Good negotiation and purchasing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of stock and ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
