Regional Account Manager (South Leinster)

Job Description

Our client is Europe’s largest supplier of industrial MRO products and services, including mechanical power transmission, flow technology, motion control automation, industrial tools and general maintenance, PPE and more. They are currently focusing on a regional sales growth strategy which has opened up the opportunity for 2 new positions within the business. They are looking for ambitious and energetic Regional Key Account Managers, in the South Leinster, Ireland region to help achieve our ambitious sales growth plans over the next number of years and to generate long-standing and successful relationships with new and existing customers across many industrial sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Medical, Food and Beverage, Engineering etc.

Objective:

Your goal will be to drive financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing customers throughout the selected regions. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working with our Regional Branch to maximise the sales potential across the industrial sectors we operate within.

Day to Day:

  • Achieve revenue and margin targets with focused business objectives within the region
  • Maintain contact with all Customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by building trust, communicating effectively, drive execution, collaborating with others, solving problems creatively and demonstrating high integrity through the full sales cycle including the negotiations on day to day sales and major projects.
  • Liaise and work effectively with, Regional Operations Managers, Branch Manager, and our Internal Sales teams to increase revenue and market share within our key accounts
  • Coordinate and follow-up on existing leads and generate new leads in an effective and structured manner. Manage the integrity and accuracy of customer data within the CRM including the sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting new customers and to grow business from our existing customer base to meet targets
  • Make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to meet their business needs
  • ADHOC activities from time to time

Key Criteria:

  • A successful track record in delivering technical sales as well as sales management
  • Be motivated, structured, and able to work autonomously.
  • Have strong sales skills and the ability to make a positive impact.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and strong ability to negotiate solution based projects
  • Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals.
  • Networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate, highly organised, with a “can-do attitude” and enjoy building rapport with your customers.
  • Territory knowledge and customer relationships would be advantageous.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
  • Full clean driving license
